"Gobhi Rezala". Today I'm going to share Gobhi Rezala recipe. This is a special dish in West Bengal. Cauliflower rezala is made with curd and cashew based gravy.
You could have "Gobhi Rezala" using 12 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
Ingredients of "Gobhi Rezala"
- It's of medium size cauliflower.
- You need of ghee.
- You need of dried red chili.
- You need of garam masala powder.
- It's of kasmiri red chili powder.
- You need of Cardamom, 1 cloves, 1" cinnamon, 1 bay leaf, 4-5 black pepper.
- It's of medium size onion paste.
- Prepare of ginger paste.
- It's of cashew nuts, 1 tbsp melon seeds, 1tbsp poppy seeds,.
- You need of yoghurt.
- You need of Salt and sugar.
- You need of kewra water.
"Gobhi Rezala" guidance
- Cut the cauliflower into big size and soak them into salted water for 15 minutes. After that drain water and let them dry..
- Make a smooth paste with cashew nuts, raisin, melon seeds, poppy seeds and keep it aside..
- Now heat ghee in a pan and saute the cauliflower colour into brown. Drain oil and keep aside..
- Heat the Pan with ghee add dried red chili whole garam masala, black pepper and bay leaf into pan and saute them..
- Then add onion paste and ginger paste into the pan and cook till it leaving oils from the side..
- Now add the cashew paste.and 1tsp kasmiri red chili powder Cook on medium flame for 5-10 minutes..
- Now add cauliflower into the pan and mix with the gravy. Add 1 Cup of water and stir well.cover it and cook for 10 -15 minutes on low flame..
- When Curry is Cook well, add salt sugar, beaten yoghurt,garam masala powder and mix well.cook for another 5 minutes..
- Switch off the flame and add 1 drop kewra water and mix well with the curry..
- Serve it hot with roti naan paratha..
