7 cup Burfi. seven cup cake is an easy sweet recipe and in most of the houses it is a compulsory one for Diwali. The sweet which is Easy and quick to make. This is the first sweet I successfully made without my moms help after marriage.

7 cup Burfi Once the Burfi has thickened and has incorporated well, transfer the mixture onto the greased tray. Burfi is a sweet confectionery that is made from dense milk. Seven cup burfi recipe was in my bookmarks list for years. You can cook 7 cup Burfi using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you create it.

Ingredients of 7 cup Burfi

  1. It's 1 cup of besan/gram flour.
  2. You need 1 cup of grated coconut.
  3. It's 1 cup of milk.
  4. Prepare 1 cup of ghee.
  5. It's 3 cup of sugar.
  6. It's 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.

I thought seven cup cake tastes more like mysore pak. Guess what … I too had prepared it and clicked it last Diwali itself. The name comes from the seven cups of ingredients used to make this easy sweet recipe. Capturing a good quality video without losing attention towards cooking definitely needs a helping hand.

7 cup Burfi instructions

  1. In a thick bottom Kadai add Besan and dry roast it until the raw smell goes and you get a good aroma. Then add grated coconut to the besan. Take all ingredients in same cup as shown in pic below..
  2. Now add sugar and milk to the above mixture. Now add half quantity of ghee to the above mixture. Add cardamom powder to it. Keep stirring continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Keep the flame to low medium..
  3. After about 15 minutes add remaining ghee. Keep on stirring constantly until it comes to the burfi consistency. The ghee leaves the sides of the kadai..
  4. If you want little more soft burfi then remove it a bit earlier. If you remove two or three minutes later then burfi gets little hard but tastes good. Like soft Mysore pak and normal Mysore Pak..
