- Take 1 litre of full-fat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to a boil. Once the milk boils, reduce the heat and add Lemon Juice to it and stir. Keep adding the lemon juice until the milk starts curdling..
- Take a muslin cloth and strain the curdled milk in it and let it cool for 30 minutes..
- After the curdled milk has cooled down add 1 tsp salt to it and put it in a blender/mixer. Give it a spin and check for a creamy texture..
- Tip:- If the mixture is not creamy enough add half or 1 tsp. Yoghurt to it and spin it again. Your substitute for cream cheese is ready..
